Matthew 2:9-11

After they had heard the king,they went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east
went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was.
[ Matthew 2:10 ]
When they saw the star,they were overjoyed.
[ Matthew 2:11 ]
On coming to the house,they saw the child with his mother,Mary,and they bowed down and worshipped him.Then they opened their treasure and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh

[ Matthew 28:18-20 ]
Jesus' last statement before he ascended into Heaven.

Then Jesus came to them and said,"all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

and teaching them to obey everything i have commanded you.And surely i am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Jesus want us to reach out to the lost.

5 typical reasons or excuses for evangelism :
1. Who am I to invite and reach out ?

Exo 3:11
But Moses said to God,"Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?"

2. What shall I say ?

Exo 3:13
Moses said to God,"Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them,' The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they ask me,'What is your name?' Then what shall I tell them?"

3. Suppose they do not believe me ...

Exo 4:1
Moses answered."What if they do not believe me or listen to me and say,' The Lord did not appear to you'?"

4. I am not fluent in speaking ...

Exo 4:10
Moses said to the Lord ," O Lord, I have never been eloquent,neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant.I am slow of speech and tongue ."

5. Send someone else ...

Exo 4:13
But Moses said,"O Lord,please send someone else to do it."


3 keys / Solution :

1. Relatioship.
- Build Strong, committed and continuous friendship

2. Faith.
- God works through faith .
- Faith without action = NO FAITH
- Faith without works is DEAD.
- Faith must always come with action.

3. Action.
- Be an activist.
- Unless we do something,otherwise nothing will be done
- We need faith and action to see the result.
